More ice in the forecast Monday night through Tuesday

Thunderstorms on Tuesday morning are moving across the Oklahoma City area, and there is a chance for freezing rain Tuesday afternoon, the National Weather Service reports. The ice will result in very slippery conditions on sidewalks, roads and bridges, including during Tuesday's morning commute.

There is a chance of more precipitation late Thursday through Sunday, with a snow-freezing rain mix possible.

We could see a return of freezing rain Thursday night, possibly mixed with sleet and snow, but the Weather Service said less than a tenth of an inch of ice and less than a half-inch of sleet and snow is expected.
