Feb 01, 2018, 00:51
The new Nokia 3310 is the same device which was first unveiled at MWC 2018 but with 4G connectivity as well as different Operating System. HMD China's website does not list the price point for the device, but chances are that the company will release an official statement in the near future, along with the phone's release date and its price point, so stay tuned for that.
HMD has quietly pushed out a 4G model of the Nokia 3310 giving the budget retro remake access to speedy mobile broadband. The 3G version of the phone came to the U.S. in late October, 8 months after it was first announced globally, but a 4G update would definitely be welcome.
The Nokia 3310 4G comes in two colour options. It also runs on YunOS, which is a Linux based OS developed by Alibaba Cloud. The Nokia 3310, despite its charm, couldn't capture the market due the 4G revolution in the country.
The Nokia 3310 4G variant will support 4G TD-LTE with VOLTE and Micro USB interface. The new Nokia 3310 comes with support for 4G connectivity. It comes with a 2.4-inch LCD screen with QVGA resolution (240×320 pixels). Probably for the best since it's working with 256MB of RAM and 512MB of storage, too little for even Android Go. Price updated Nokia 3310 is not reported, and its specifications in comparison with previous year model have not changed: 320×240 points, 2.4 inches, battery 1200 mAh, microUSB port, input under earphones, Kamen 2 MP with flash, and Bluetooth 4.0. The handset has a 2MP primary camera at its rear along with LED flash. The latest version supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Wi-Fi Hotspot functionality. It also has a built-in voice assistant, a whole bundle of MyJio apps, connects to any TV, including old CRT TVs with JioPhoneTV cable, and extremely affordable voice + data plan at just Rs 49 a month.
