Grand champion arrives at the White House

Melania Trump is celebrating 200 years of holiday celebrations at the White House under the theme of "Time-Honored Traditions", which the White House says was designed by Melania herself.

The profile goes on to recount her unusual approach to her new role as first lady, including a relatively sparse staff and her decision to remain in NY with son Barron for the first five months of her husband's presidency.

In a Vanity Fair report published Sunday, the unnamed friend told the magazine that being first lady isn't something Melania wanted and isn't something that she expected to happen.

If it isn't a role she coveted, Melania's urging that her husband decide once and for all whether to run for president in 2014 helped get her there.

Melania spoke to Us Weekly about being criticized in the public eye in 2015, six months before her husband, 71, was named the Republican presided nominee.

"This isn't something she wanted and it isn't something he ever thought he'd win", the quote from the unnamed friend reads.

"I think she understood he was going to be unhappy if he didn't run". Stone continued, paraphrasing what Melania might have said: "Your friends are exhausted of this striptease". She went on to graduate from a design high school and attend the University of Ljubljana before relocating to Italy and later Paris for modelling.

"She knew it was in his blood", Stone added.

At the beginning of her time as first lady, it was 'not pleasant, ' said Paolo Zampolli, the longtime friend who introduced the couple two decades ago.

It's customary for several White House staffers to visit the grand champion's tree farm to choose the official White House Christmas tree.

Ms Trump has had a fraught relationship with her husband's first wife Ivana Trump. "There is clearly no substance to this statement from an ex, this is unfortunately only attention-seeking and self-serving noise".
