NASA releases creepy space sounds for Halloween

Talking about their latest playlist, NASA said: "Soaring to the depths of our universe, gallant spacecraft roam from cosmos, snapping images of celestial wonders".

The instruments of NASA, that they are based on Earth or in orbit, recorded radio emissions that scientists regularly analyze, to look for explanations on the phenomena of extraterrestrials. We can't hear these sounds in their raw form, so NASA has converted them into an audible format suitable for our ears-and the results are unsettling. Sounds from Juno are included in NASA's Halloween playlist.

"Juno Captures the "Roar" of Jupiter" where NASA's Juno spacecraft crossed the boundary of Jupiter's magnanimous magnetic field.

Now it should be pointed out that these are not the sounds directly recorded from space. From howling planets to whistling helium and unusual moons, this is how space Halloween sounds like.

The independent agency said it created the playlist to make listeners' "skin crawl" to keep with the spirit of Halloween. At the beginning of the compilation, you can hear Juno Crossing Jupiter's Bow Shock. The radio waves from Saturn are closely related to the auroras near the poles of the planet.

NASA's Cassini spacecraft, which recently ended its ended its epic 13-year stint at Saturn on September 15, also captured eerie-sounding radio emissions from the ringed planet. The compressed signals vary in frequency and time, and feature rising and falling tones similar to Earth's radio emissions.

Next up are the plasma waves, like the roaring ocean surf, captured using the EMFISIS instrument aboard NASA's Van Allen Probes. This process is known as "data sonification".

In 2011, NASA's Stardust spacecraft flew by the Tempel 1 comet.
