Mobile's Mobile Without Borders now maxes at 5GB of 4G LTE data

Customers will now have a maximum LTE data limit of 5 GB in Mexico and Canada, after which they will be reduced to Simple Global speeds, meaning up to 128 kbps for most plans or 256 kbps with T-Mobile ONE Plus.

If you really need more than that data, you can still purchase high-speed worldwide LTE data for an additional $25.

Additionally, you may have fewer data to enjoy with on the off chance that you aren't subscribed to an unlimited plan. T-Mobile has been chief among those trying to quash their rivals, making some very competitive moves in order to secure subscribers.

The company T-Mobile has provided the information about usage breakdowns on its official website that is visible to all people. After T-Mobile introduced unlimited Netflix streaming earlier this week, this plan comes as a slap to travelers who spend their time watching youtube videos or business owners relying on unlimited LTE data plans.

12, T-Mobile will limit your 4G LTE data to 5GB per month while you're in Canada or Mexico, the company has announced.

The change comes into effect on November 12, 2017, and hits customers on T-Mobile One, One Plus, Simple Choice, and legacy rate plans. For T-Mobile One customers, the One Plus worldwide option can be added for an extra $25 per month, and that'll get you unlimited high-speed data when venturing across the border.

Note that you can get unlimited LTE in Mexico and Canada by adding One Plus International to your account, but at $25 a month, that option isn't exactly cheap.

The company said that less than than 1 percent of people with Mobile Without Borders travel to Mexico and Canada and use more than 5GB a month, indicating the cap will have little impact on its customers.

If you have any more queries on the change and how it will reflect on your mobile usage, you can check the dedicated T-Mobile FAQ page to get all the answers.
