They have been photographed together before, but this is the first time for them to appear together at an official event.

The Invictus Games are an worldwide sports competition for wounded and sick military personnel founded in 2014 by Harry, younger brother of William, the second in line to the British throne.

A Christchurch teen has had an "amazing" experience cheering on her stepdad at the Invictus Games along with Prince Harry and girlfriend Meghan Markle.

The couple have found it hard to escape the Kiwi contingent today appearing for the first time together in public at the Invictus Games tennis match between New Zealand and Australia with a group of Kiwi kids as their chaperones.

He was seated next to United States first lady Melania Trump, Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau and Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko, whom he had met earlier on Saturday for bilateral talks.

Meghan stars as Rachel Zane in the legal drama which films in her home town of Toronto, where the 2017 Invictus Games are now taking place, but as Harry is also in town, he reportedly dropped by to support his girlfriend. Though the couple did not sit next to each other during the ceremonies, Prince Harry and his girlfriend exchanged smiles and glances to acknowledge each other.

As you would expect, more than one Twitter user hopped on the idea that Markle's $185 "Husband" blouse means something about her relationship status-and, also as expected, fans of the Suits star and the British royal were not upset by the thought. On Monday, the two were headed towards the Prince's Invictus Games, an Olympic-style competition for and benefitting wounded veterans.

The lovebirds grow in fact always the discretion, and in spite of the formalization of their idyll by the actress at the beginning of September to the press, they do not yet appear ready to be displayed together. Meghan confirmed the pair were in a serious relationship and are "very much in love".
