The four women were studying overseas, three of them at the college's Paris program.

In London this year, two teenage boys went on a violent, 72-hour spree in the northeast, spraying acid on five people, authorities said.

La Provence, a newspaper in Marseille, reported that police described the woman as mentally unstable and that she remained at the scene to show officers pictures of herself with burns.
