It's no longer a place for Apple users to get apps, instead, they would have to rely on the iOS App Store. It means the App Store (pictured below) and app library sections are completely gone.

One could say that the iTunes is still doing more than what it should be but there has been a rumor for a while now that iTunes could be going away in the future in favor of separate apps for music, movies, podcasts and TV shows on the Mac.

Just like the previous major iOS updates, you will be able to install the iOS 11 update on your iPhone or iPad wirelessly by downloading the OTA update directly on the device.

Apple has released iTunes 12.7, the new software is now available to download for your Mac. As for Apple Music, the big change is that it now features a social sharing feature.

Although this beta version of iOS 11 should be almost ideal with most of the bugs detected and ironed out, there's still a chance that Apple will add or eliminate certain things and you'll need to download an update on the release day. Next, users will have to click on the Update button on the top of the window.

With Watch OS 4, you'll be able to see your heart rate right on your watch face.

Meanwhile, the iOS 11 is also now on public beta and is already equipped with some of the newest and most interesting features that would make iPhones and iPads work more efficiently and faster.

When you launch iTunes 12.7 you'll see a disclaimer about the changes.
