Kylian Mbappe reveals he turned down Arsene Wenger to sign for PSG

Julian Draxler insists he is ready to challenge both Neymar and Kylian Mbappe for a starting role at Paris Saint-Germain following Arsenal's interest in signing him on transfer deadline day.

The player, who made a total of 44 appearances last season scoring 26 goals in all competitions, was instrumental for Monaco who won the French Ligue 1 title, and also reached the semifinals of the Champions League.

PSG splashed out a world-record fee of 222million euros to bring in Brazil star Neymar from Barcelona over the summer and followed that up with the capture of Kylian Mbappe from Monaco, landing the forward on loan with an obligation to buy for £165m next summer.

"It was important for me to come to Paris in this moment of my life. I am improving and it's great to have signed with such an ambitious club".
