Xiaomi Mi 7 to pack Snapdragon 845 SoC, 8GB RAM

If we are to believe the rumors, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 chipset, a bezel- less 6-inch display and a huge, 4500mAh battery.

Xiaomi also released a couple of teaser images for the Mi Mix 2, which are hilariously depicting the phone as being almost invisible when turning on the camera. Now, the smartphone's retail box has been revealed, courtesy CEO Lei Jun, along with promo campaign images as well. Some reports suggest that it will have 6GB RAM, while some rumours point out that the Mi MIX 2 could come with 8GB RAM. Specifically, the "About Phone" section of Mi Mix 2 will include all details related to the handset model. And once again, the tech world will be taken aback with a similar amount of ecstasy with the arrival of the upcoming concept-phone, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. Apart from the processor, the leak also hints that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will run the latest Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the box, as reported by GSM Arena. This is the company's way of showing how thin the bezels are on the Mi Mix 2, and how it makes it look like users aren't holding anything when taking photos.

The Mi Mix was a hit beyond Xiaomi's usual pool of fans thanks to a stunning front design which is almost all screen and very little bezel. There will reportedly be two options for in-built storage: 128GB and 256GB. His conceptual design reveals that the upcoming Xiaomi handset will sport minimal bezels on the sides of the screen, slimmer than the bezels of Mi Mix.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will also be A LOT cheaper than Apple's iPhone X when it launches.

And while both Apple and Essential have previously proved unable to proffer a fully all-encompassing display with their flagships, Xiaomi looks set to conduct a valiant effort in this field. One of them with 6 GB of RAM, the other with 8 GB of RAM.
