IPhone 8 anticipation drives Apple shares to all-time high

Since Apple has eliminated the home button, according to Gurman, the company has created a new software-based home bar that will use new multitasking gestures to access different parts of the device. The Company's products and services include iPhone, iPad, Mac, iPod, Apple TV, a portfolio of consumer and professional software applications, the iOS and OS X operating systems, iCloud, and a variety of accessory, service and support offerings. There have been many leaks which highlighted specs and features that iPhone 8 will be equipped it, but there's nothing about its price. Many reports have pegged the iPhone 8's display size at 5.8 inches.

The current home button on the iPhone 7 isn't exactly a "button". Sources also note that, contrary to rumours of a curved OLED screen, the new screen will be flat like prior iPhone models.

The iPhone 8 will, of course, not be launching alone; it'll be accompanied by both the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus, and may even also be joined by the Apple Watch Series 3, if some reports are accurate.

According to MacRumors, the wireless charging feature of the iPhone 8 might be half the charging speed of standard chargers.

One of the features that Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) is rumored to be bringing to its upcoming iPhones, which are reportedly set to be unveiled to the public in about two weeks, is so-called "wireless charging". Glacier Peak Capital LLC purchased a new stake in shares of Apple during the fourth quarter worth about $127,000.

The bezel-less display is Apple's first OLED display and will surely be one of the best smartphone displays on the market when the iPhone 8 launches sometime in September.

The world is still reeling from Apple's decision to snip the headphone port off iPhone 7 - but a bigger change could be incoming. The earpiece, FaceTime camera, and new facial recognition sensors will be contained in a cutout of "notch" at the top of the screen.

The iPhone 8 will feature an edge-to-edge screen display that takes up nearly its entire front portion.

Today, we've got a fresh, alleged iPhone 8 related image for you. Facial scanning technology already has been seen on other phones, including Samsung Corp.'s (SSNLF) Galaxy S8 smartphone, released in April, and its Note 8 phone, expected to launch September 15. This is a first in the iPhone lineup since all the previous models used LED technology.
