Corinne Opens Up About 'BIP' Shutdown In Emotional Interview

Olympios admitted that she "drank too much" while filming but added that a medication she is on may have accelerated the blackout.

"I was just kind of like, 'Let's just talk everything out, '" the reality star said of her reaction to the show's shutdown in June. I just went about my day normally and we were cordial.it was just normal.

"We have become aware of allegations of misconduct on the set of "Bachelor in Paradise" in Mexico", the statement read. "I was really a victim of the media".

Corinne Olympios, one of two "Bachelor in Paradise" personalities at the center of ultimately disproved misconduct claims, says she was a victim of the media - despite conceding that mixing medication and alcohol caused her to exhibit questionable behavior. The combination, she said, impaired her judgment. "It's like I'm watching not me, I'm watching someone else", she said.

After receiving backlash from Bachelor Nation fans and former costars, Olympios clarified a few things - including what she meant by calling herself a "victim".

The female contestant at the center of the sexual assault scandal that rocked "Bachelor in Paradise" harbors no ill will toward the male contestant involved - just the media. "All of a sudden people became an expert on the situation and what happened.it was just frightful to deal with".

"I would hope that if a producer saw anything that they were uncomfortable with anyone they would do the proper investigations and everything to make sure that everybody's safe and everything like that", she added. Instead, she told BIP viewers that it wasn't his fault and that she felt sorry for him.

Olympios was invovled in an incident in June with fellow contestant DeMario Jackson.

Meanwhile, Jackson spoke to E!

"I was really a victim of the media", she told GMA. This is hot. This is very. I never pointed fingers at DeMario, I never said a bad word about DeMario, ' she said.

Corinne Olympios opened up about the alleged incident that took place between her and DeMario Jackson on Bachelor in Paradise, saying she has no recollection of what happened after she unintentionally blacked out from a combination of alcohol and medication.

On Tuesday night's Bachelor in Paradise, host Chris Harrison interrupted your scheduled programming of drunken spit and bed swapping for A Very Special Sit-Down with Corinne Olympios, one of the subjects of the sexual misconduct investigation that almost shutdown the series earlier this summer. There's no bad blood there.

Though she has not spoken to Jackson since production had been suspended, she wishes him nothing but the best. However, Warner Bros., the company behind the show, determined that Jackson was innocent of any wrongdoing.

"Bachelor in Paradise" airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. On Tuesday night, Corinne talked to host Chris Harrison about her experience on the show.
