Psyonix, developer of the award winning Rocket League, have revealed that Battle-Cars will be coming to the Nintendo version of Rocket League as an exclusive.

Unlockable for free when the game launches, you'll be able to duke it out in a Mario NSR, a Luigi NSR and a auto styled after Samus' Gunship from the Metroid games. The two brothers also can't play together, which is a little sad - because the Mario variant is for orange team, and the Luigi one's for the blue team. The Gunship vehicle will come with a Wave Beam specialized boost.

No definitive release date has been locked down for the game yet but all signs are pointing to a release some time this year.

Due to the fact that the Switch version is launching a "tad" bit later than its console competition, Ppsynoix is adding a few cars to the mix that you won't be able to get anywhere else.
