Summer Phoenix Files For Divorce From Casey Affleck After 10 Years

After nearly 10 years of marriage, Casey Affleck's wife Summer Phoenix has finally filed for divorce from the Oscar winning actor. The couple had publicly announced their split in March past year, after separating in November 2015.

Affleck and Phoenix wedded in 2006 in the wake of getting to be noticeably occupied with 2003.

Summer filed the divorce petition Monday in Los Angeles. citing irreconcilable differences.

The former couple remained close to co-parent its sons IN, 12, and Atticus, nine, but now actress, model, and designer Summer has chose to move forward with divorce proceedings.

The little brother of Ben Affleck and Summer Phoenix are separating for good... The media report indicated that in the court papers Summer has asked for joint physical and legal custody of the children.

She is asking for spousal support and attorney fees, according to TMZ. A rep for Affleck told E! at the time the split was friendly.

Affleck won a best actor Academy Award in February for "Manchester By the Sea".

Oscar victor Affleck, 41, and model-actress Phoenix, 38, were introduced by Phoenix's older brother, actor Joaquin Phoenix, in 2000.
