Livestreaming while driving under influence, teen kills sister in fatal auto crash

An 18-year-old woman from Stockton, CA is now in jail for being under the influence and live streaming while driving two 14-year-old girls in the backseat of a auto, which she later crashed.

The CHP says two minors were in the back seat were not wearing seatbelts.

Authorities say Obdulia Sanchez, 18, was driving the vehicle Friday when it veered onto the shoulder of a road about 75 miles (120.7 kilometers) northwest of Fresno.

According to reports from BuzzFeed, Obdulia Sanchez was driving under the influence around 6:40 p.m. when the crash took place. The video, which was live streamed to Obdulia's Instagram account, shows the moment that the auto rolls over a fence and into a nearby field.

The deceased has been identified as 14-year-old Jacqueline Sanchez, who according to the California Highway Patrol, suffered major injuries during the upside down crash of the auto.

"I love my sister to death. I'm sorry, baby. I'ma hold it down. rest in peace, sweetie".

The California Highway Patrol has said it is examining the Instagram video as part of its investigation. She was being held on a $300,000 bond.

Obdulia then repeatedly asks her sister to wake up and reiterates that she did not mean to kill her. "Wake up, baby. This is the last thing I wanted to happen to us, but it just did", she says before attempting to nudge her sister. The other passenger sustained major trauma to her right leg, according to KTXL.

A teenager has been arrested after livestreaming the moment her sister died in an horrific vehicle crash.

'I think this video can get a lot of people to think twice about using their phones while driving now'. The video has since been deleted from social media sites, but not before being viewed and shared by numerous users.

As for the older sister, she was reportedly uncooperative with police officers and appeared to be highly intoxicated.

The family has set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds for Jacqueline Sanchez's funeral.

Sanchez was arrested on charges of vehicular manslaughter while driving under the influence. Her sister was supposed to celebrate her quinceañera (15th birthday) soon.
