It sure looks like future Hall of Famer Manu Ginobili will be returning to the San Antonio Spurs for a 16th season.

Almost one month after opting out of his deal with the San Antonio Spurs for 2017-18, Pau Gasol is reportedly nearing an agreement to return to the team next season. This will be Ginobili's 16th season in San Antonio. While the Spurs added Rudy Gay in free agency, he is coming off a torn Achilles' and may not be back until mid-season. Ginobili began his pro career at 18 and played seven seasons in Argentina and Italy before joining the Silver and Black. He has played in five NBA Finals with San Antonio. In Euroleague play, Osman averaged 7.1 points and 2.8 rebounds.

Last season, Osman averaged 13.2 points and 4.1 rebounds in 35 games. He is one of only two players who have won an National Basketball Association title, an Olympic gold medal and a Euroleague championship. Still, he remained a vital locker room and leadership component for a team transitioning out of the Duncan era. The fans in San Antonio love him, and over the years he has shown great energy, passion and relentlessness while playing in the San Antonio Spurs uniform. He appeared in 69 games for the Spurs previous year, all of the bench, averaging 7.5 points and 2.7 assists in 18.7 minutes a night. Last season he became the first player age 39 or older to score 20 or more points off the bench in a playoff game since 1970.
