Uber to adopt all recommendations from AG after probe

Uber declined to comment on the probe or whether Kalanick faced a suspension or firing from the company.

Uber hired former US attorney general Eric Holder, and his law firm, Covington & Burling, to lead the investigation.

The ongoing crises at Uber just led to its most high-profile executive departure yet.

The debate over Kalanick's future comes as he is also facing a personal trauma: His mother died last month in a boating accident, in which his father was also badly injured.

Kalanick has been at the center of Uber's roiling harassment scandal with reports from former employees alleging the company's culture and tone was set from the top.

And Michael, Uber's senior vice president of business, has been there, too.

On the agenda at Sunday's meeting were a possible leave of absence for Kalanick and potentially parting ways with Michael. Alexander had obtained medical reports of the woman who had been raped during an Uber ride in India.

The presentation of the Holder report's recommendations to Uber employees on Tuesday will also mark one week since the embattled company, which is valued at $68 billion, announced that 20 employees had been fired over harassment claims.

With just seventeen days before ride sharing companies begin to make their trips across upstate NY, one of the big business ventures, Uber, is making changes - and possibly not for the better.

The company said the investigation spanned issues relating to poor company culture, and further action is being taken against employees implicated.

Martello, a career operator, brings a great deal of financial experience to the company, having previously served as the CFO of Walmart International, the CFO of Nestle and is now on the board of directors and audit committee of Alibaba Group Holdings.

He made headlines in 2014 for suggesting Uber could do opposition research on journalists who were critical of the company. He had been with Uber since 2013 and his last title was chief business officer. Fasten, an Uber rival that operates in Boston and Austin, Texas, said it saw a 25 percent ridership increase the week after an Uber boycott started.

He said in response to the video: "I must fundamentally change as a leader and grow up".

Uber has sincefaced other problems, including an intellectual property dispute over self-driving auto technology with Waymo, the self-driving vehicle business that operates under Google's parent company. He was also present on a trip with Kalanick that resulted in a formal complaint by a female Uber employee.
