Sushma Swaraj rubbishes money making allegations made by Trump

"Anyone who says we have signed Paris because of the lure of money, I reject that as baseless".

On the H1B visas, Swaraj said while nothing has changed so far in the USA, there were concerns Sushma rebuts Trump on Paris agreement and New Delhi was in touch with the United States administration and lawmakers.

Citing India's ethos and cultural heritage, Swaraj said that this commitment is 5,000 years old. "I clearly dismiss both accusations", she told reporters.

On the issue of Kashmir, she said that Pakistan could not take the Kashmir issue to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) as the matter had to be solved bilaterally. Calling the regulations "unattainable", she said that former US President Barack Obama did not approach the US Senate to clear the climate deal, "because he couldn't". Swaraj reiterated India's position that it will remain a part of the agreement with or without the US. "We have proven it", she added.

Maintaining that talks and terror can not go together, she also made it clear that no meeting has been fixed between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation meeting in Astana later this month. The dates for the visit are being worked out, sources said. "But at the same time terror and talks can not go together".
