Sea lion pulls young girl off dock into harbor

The reign of terror perpetrated by wild animals on unsuspecting Chinese tourists continued over the weekend with a young girl being pulled into the water of a Canadian harbor by a hungry sea lion.

It then rises from the water toward a little girl kneeling near the dock, then goes back in.

It is a viral video that grabs the heart of any parent.

According to Fujiwara, a family began feeding bread crumbs to the sea lion, while the young girl got close to the edge of the dock.

Fujiwara says he goes once a week to the docks, sees sea lions often, but has never witnessed anything like what he was able to capture on video. Certainly when animals are habituated to being around people, and the sea lion looked like he had no fear, the best thing for animals is not to trust their intentions are good. However, the sea lion which has now received celebrity status is receiving more visitors. The sea lion suddenly lurched up, grabbed her by her clothes and pulled her backward into the water with a big splash, as onlookers scream.
