Waze update lets anyone use their own voice for navigation

Waze already has a long list of voices to choose from for your turn-by-turn direction needs, but after the latest update, you can now use your own voice to guide yourself in unknown territory. You can opt to do whichever directions you want, but do note, any options you don't record voice for will use the default Waze setting. According to The Verge, the feature, which Waze dubs "the Waze voice recorder", can be activated by going into the app's Settings, then selecting "Sound & Voice" and, when prompted, recordubg your own interpretations of Waze's 39 audio commands. You will not hear the street names spoken loudly while you're using the feature. So, instead of s strangers voice, you can have your own voice (or your wife's!) telling you to take the next left and come back home. While the potential uses for localization (and pranks) is almost limitless, the feature is now can't be shared.
