OnePlus 4 leaks suggest it'll have dual-cameras but won't upgrade screen

After thousands of rumors and leaks about the launched of the most-awaited OnePlue 5 device this year, the company's CEO posted a teaser image with a "big surprise" caption on the firm's Weibo account.

The official teaser also doesn't give away any specifications or features, but a recently leaked render of the phone, and what are thought to be official shots from the camera, confirm a dual rear camera setup.

The message? That the next phone, rumored to be called the OnePlus 5 (4 is regarded as an unlucky number in China, one that corresponds to death), should come out sooner rather than later. The leak says the images to be fake and OnePlus 5 would, in fact, come with horizontal dual camera setup on the top left corner. Some reports are claiming it will be embedded into the screen, although we'll have to wait and see whether this rumour comes to fruition.

Both the LG G6 and the Galaxy S8 have their fingerprint sensor on their backs to accommodate the all-screen design. The leak claims the OnePlus 5 will come equipped with a 3600mAh capacity battery. Some have speculated that the upcoming flagship will feature whopping 8GB RAM, while others believe that OnePlus will be sticking with 6GB. We're already seeing that some phone makers are already ditching the headphone jack in favor of USB-C or wireless solutions like Bluetooth, and OnePlus could jump on board to do the same. It's likely that demand for the OnePlus 5 will be high when it finally hits shelves.

None of these specs have been confirmed by OnePlus itself and should be taken with considerable amounts of skepticism. OnePlus' CEO and co-founder Pete Lau posted a teaser on Weibo confirming the company's relentlessly working on its next phone, to "make a big surprise".
