New Marketing For 'Call Of Duty: WWII' Reveals Release Date, New Features

This next game returns the franchise to its roots, as the 2003 original Call of Duty was something of a ripoff of the popular Medal of Honor franchise as it focused on combat during World War II. The trailer was part of a special-presentation from the publisher, which streamed the announcement of the game worldwide for fans of the franchise. Since it's historically one of the most common settings, it seems like Sledgehammer knows it has to make this game stand out.

New and official details about "Call of Duty: WWII" are already on the way, but for those who simply can not wait any longer, some leaks have helped to shed light on what this upcoming game will offer. He didn't detail just what we'd see from multiplayer - or if that included zombies or not as far as being playable - but it's still something.

Through stunning visuals and intense audio, players storm the beaches of Normandy on D-Day, march across France to liberate Paris and ultimately push forward into Germany in some of the most monumental battles of all-time. The game is expected to be an authentic World War II shooter featuring historical battles and iconic locations.

GameStop is reporting that the game will likely be released on November 3.

Base Edition and Digital Base Edition - Suggested Retail Price $59.99. There have also been suggestions of a cooperative campaign mode and that a multiplayer beta will be publicly available before the game's eventual release. Not only that. The leak also indicated other details of the game, including a private beta and story description of some sort.
